What’s the job all about?

This newly created role of 3rd Party Bike Planner is essential to our global supply chain, supporting Accell’s growing demand for high-quality bikes by strengthening our supply planning and procurement operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with suppliers, production planners, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and meet production goals. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and excited to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? 

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and managing the procurement of bike components from third-party suppliers across Europe and Asia, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers, handling communications with a balance of assertiveness and respect.
  • Using ERP, Kinaxis Maestro and other systems to monitor inventory levels and forecast needs, providing insights and adjustments to meet production targets.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on supply chain efficiency and process optimization.
  • Maintain supplier relationships, set up logistical terms, drive continuous improvement, and oversee quality standards.

Who are we looking for?

If you’re an enthusiastic, numbers-driven supply planner with a passion for relationship management, this is your opportunity! You’ll ideally have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 4-5 years of experience in production planning or procurement, with strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to solving challenges and a flexible, adaptable mindset.
  • Available for traveling (up to 25% within Europe and 10% outside) to visit key suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional knowledge of Mandarin or Indian languages is a nice to have).
  • The ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships, internally and externally.
