Technical Support Dealer

On-site – Heerenveen or Apeldoorn, Netherlands (Full-time)

We are looking for a Technical Support Dealer! In this role, you'll play a crucial role in assisting bike dealers, using your expertise and proactive attitude to make a real difference.

Our offices are in Apeldoorn and Heerenveen, with your work location being either of these two sites. You’ll join the Technical Support Team, consisting of around nine colleagues. In this technical inside sales role, you'll receive support and collaborate with the internal organization. At Accell, we foster a culture of teamwork and mutual assistance, where you’ll also support field colleagues when needed.

What’s the job all about?

As a Technical Support Dealer, you will be the go-to person for bike dealers in need of technical advice. This includes guidance on technical parts for both current and past bike collections, with a focus on alternatives, applicability, installation instructions, delivery times, and pricing. Your primary tools will be phone, email, and chat, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Accurate record-keeping is essential, so you'll ensure timely, precise, and complete data entry in our automated systems, and log all interactions in the CRM system.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide advice not only on existing products but also actively promote special models, playing a key role in driving sales.
  • Make warranty decisions based on existing policies, balancing company interests with customer satisfaction.
  • Manage service parts by reorganizing, adjusting, and modifying customer orders to meet expectations.
  • Serve as a friendly and solution-oriented point of contact, prioritizing customer satisfaction and proactively improving it.
  • Contribute to achieving phone availability KPIs, elevating our service standards.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who excels at clearly communicating technical details. A quick problem-solver with an efficient work style, you prioritize customer satisfaction. As a proactive individual, you take initiative and contribute fresh ideas and improvements, enhancing the work environment.

Additionally, you have:

  • An MBO education level, ideally in a technical or commercial field.
  • An affinity for or experience with technology, preferably within the bicycle industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English, Dutch and German (spoken and written).
  • A results-driven, independent work style.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
