As a Business Consultant, you act as the bridge between Accell IT and the international planning, purchasing, and production locations of Accell Group, with the goal of creating business value. If you’re a connector who thrives on building solutions, this position could be for you.

What’s the job all about?

As a Business Consultant specializing in Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, you’ll be an expert in both the business processes and the IT solutions needed to support them. This includes areas such as forecasting and planning (S&OP), procurement, production of components, assembly processes, and quality controls. You will serve as a sparring partner for senior international stakeholders in these fields. Together, you’ll define the roadmap and priorities, working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) alongside Scrum teams to deliver solutions.

You will also play a key role in harmonizing and standardizing our ERP landscape.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? 

Your responsibilities include:

• Identifying user needs and opportunities to enhance processes with IT solutions in ERP and related applications (e.g., forecasting, planning, procurement, and quality control tools).
• Ensuring consistent IT solutions and process standards.
• Translating requirements and opportunities into functional designs in collaboration with experts.
• Advising international Accell management on IT developments.
• Visiting Accell locations to provide advice and training for optimal use of existing IT systems.
• Initiating and coordinating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among Accell organizations.
• Monitoring IT system functionality, regularly assessing user knowledge, and providing or arranging additional training as needed.
• Managing complex, multidisciplinary change projects.
• Acting as a sparring partner for IT colleagues regarding interfaces with the Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing domains.

Who are we looking for?

• A bachelor’s degree in planning, supply chain management, IT, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, and/or manufacturing, with proven expertise in relevant IT applications.
• Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking skills, with great attention to detail.
• Seniority to effectively engage with international stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, seeking not just answers but solutions to underlying problems.
• Comfort working in an international environment, with strong English language skills. Dutch is nice to have.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
