What’s the job all about?

Step into the world of Functional Management and become a valuable part of our team. Together with other enthusiastic colleagues, we work according to the Scrum methodology (SAFe) to maintain and improve all commercial, logistical, and financial applications. Besides these continuous improvements, we strive for further harmonization and standardization of our application landscape. This, and other challenging projects, need your expertise. You will work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Business Consultants, and other Scrum teams.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve? 

• Resolving incidents and problems for end users;
• Implementing changes in configurations of our ERP system and (integrations with) related applications, such as:
  • Logistics: carrier integrations, inventory management, storage, and picking automation
  • Commercial: B2B and D2C webshops, CRM, external partners
  • Financial: invoice scanning, declarations, bank integrations, consolidation
• Translating user questions and requests into (existing) solutions;
• Identifying opportunities and initiating improvements;
• Actively observing the workplace to solve issues;
• Collaborating with business and IT colleagues;
• Communicating with external suppliers;
• Preparing test scenarios and documentation;
• Testing changes and training end users (on-site);
• Ensuring optimal use of applications by sharing best practices.

Every business process in which IT plays or can play a role has our attention. Accell IT is highly centralized in both policy and execution. Services are developed and delivered from Heerenveen and Amsterdam. The goal is to support the quality and innovation that Accell strives for in its product portfolio with comparable products, services, and service.

Who are we looking for? 

You are analytical, can think process-wise, work accurately, and enjoy interacting with end users;

• You get energy from mapping out user needs, thinking about possible solutions, and translating these into the necessary changes in applications/integrations;
• You have a passion for technology/IT and are looking for a role where you can combine your knowledge with strong communication skills;
• You are best described as eager to learn and proactive;
• You have an affinity with logistical processes (e.g., purchasing, planning, warehousing, distribution), commercial processes (e.g., order management, commercial conditions), and/or financial processes (e.g., accounting, AR/AP);
• You want to work in an international environment.

To be successful in this role, we would like to see the following in your profile:

• HBO working/thinking level and an education in IT, business administration/business informatics, or similar;
• Experience with functional management processes, such as setting up, configuring, and improving information systems;
• Affinity/experience in financial, logistical, and/or commercial processes and systems;
• Knowledge of ERP systems;
• Knowledge of EDI/integrations, preferably Mulesoft;
• You are eager to learn and take initiative;
• You are proficient in Dutch and English.
