As we continue to evolve and grow, there is a need for someone who will oversee helping to mold internal communications and, thus, ensuring that our mission, vision, and values are felt by every employee. We are looking for an Internal Communication Expert to lead this journey and build the foundational work of the internal communications function that drives engagement, alignment, and excitement within our global team. 

What’s the job all about?

As an Internal Communication Expert at Accell, you will be the owner of internal communications across 18 countries. For the very first time, this role is giving you the unique opportunity to build from scratch and execute a communication strategy to make our message heard loud and clear by employees across our dynamic organization. You will shape the processes, create high-quality content, and lead initiatives that will inspire and engage all people, aligning them to live under the "One Accell" vision.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?

Your role will be a balanced mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution that revolve around three key pillars of responsibility:

1. Build Internal Communications for ONE ACCELL
  • Centralized Information: Create a unified communication strategy that brings clarity and consistency to our messaging across all channels.
  • Intranet: Develop and manage a robust intranet/ app platform that serves as the go-to hub for all internal communications, ensuring employees have easy access to vital information.
  • Inspirations (News, Good News): Curate and share inspiring stories and updates to keep our teams motivated and engaged with the broader vision of Accell.
2. Big Transformations
  • New Employee Values: Lead the communication of our newly established employee values, embedding them within our culture and everyday practices.
  • Sharing Successes: Highlight achievements and milestones to celebrate our wins, fostering a sense of pride and unity among employees.
  • Internal Activation of Values: Ensure that our values are not just words on a page but are actively lived and demonstrated throughout the organization.
3. We are Building New Operating Models
  • Cascading Relevant Information: Effectively communicate key changes and updates related to our new operating models, ensuring that all employees are informed and aligned with our direction.
  • Internal Info: Provide clear and timely updates on internal initiatives and developments, making sure that vital information reaches all levels of the organization.

In this role, reporting directly to the CHRO, you will play an important role in shaping our internal communication landscape, creating a state of transparency, engagement, and alignment with our extensive goals at Accell.

Who are we looking for?

We seek a proactive, energetic, and adaptive individual—a real "doer" who can manage transformation and impose order where required. First and foremost, understanding the nuances of internal communications, knowing what 'good' looks like and doesn’t mind getting his/her hands dirty. You will thrive in a still maturing environment, and your ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics will be key. Your profile includes:

  • Create compelling content: You have created engaging content across multiple mediums.
  • Digital savvy: You know how to optimize communication by using different digital tools and platforms.
  • Employer Branding experience: You also have experience working with Employer Branding initiatives and can communicate our values internally.
  • Bilingual: You master Dutch and English, so you can work closely with many teams across the regions.
  • Interpersonal skills: You have an established history of constructing strong relations with executive leadership while you remain the champion of cultural sensitivity.
  • Organizational sensitivity: You feel the pulse of a growing international business.
