HR Business Partner Benelux

Hybrid, Amsterdam (Full-time)

Are you ready to be a driving force in shaping the future of HR at a global leader in the cycling industry?

At Accell Group, we’re not just building bikes— we’re creating experiences that move the world forward. Our mission? To craft the joy of cycling. Our ambition? Riding together to win. We’re a team that believes in:

  • Take ownership: We deliver on our promises, continuously learn and improve, and take initiative with follow-through.
  • One Team: We value transparent feedback, respect everyone’s input, and celebrate success together.
  • Passion and Quality: We put our customers first, never compromise on quality or safety, and always go the extra mile.

We are on an exciting transformation to completely redesign HR to develop a best-in-class, highly efficient HR organization capable of providing extraordinary service and support for all aspects of the business. The HRBP role is no exception. Since this role is still in its formative stages, a significant part of your responsibilities will involve actively contributing to its development. In the initial phase, you can expect a considerable amount of ad hoc tasks as we shape and define the scope and focus of the position. The role will evolve over time as we progress in our HR transformation journey.

What’s the job all about?

Your day-to-day won’t be predictable—you’ll need to wear multiple hats, managing everything from strategic HR initiatives to advising on employee relations and leading cultural change initiatives. One day, you might be partnering with works councils and unions; the next, you’ll be involved in talent management, compensation & benefits, or organizational development.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?

  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Work closely with works councils and unions on labor relations.
  • Streamline and harmonize HR processes across Benelux to establish efficient HR support.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and coach on employee relations, talent development, and performance management.
  • Foster a supportive, service-oriented HR culture.
  • Lead and participate in global HR initiatives, including talent management and compensation programs.
  • Champion employee engagement and cultural initiatives.
  • Be a key player in implementing Workday across Accell Group.
  • The role is not limited to a single location and requires flexible presence across various sites in the Netherlands. While you will, on average, spend two days per week at the Accell Group's Amsterdam office, you will also be expected to travel weekly to our headquarters in Heerenveen and regularly visit other key locations, including Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. In light of these requirements, a company car will be provided.

Who are we looking for?

You’re an experienced HR Business Partner with a broad understanding of HR functions and a talent for change management. Comfortable in a dynamic, international setting, you have a proven ability to challenge the status quo, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive meaningful change. You’re well-versed in Dutch employment law, with a background in supporting matrix organizations. If this sounds like you, you’ll likely have:

  • Proven experience in HRBP roles, with a focus on organizational and leadership development, talent management, and compensation & benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong change management skills with the ability to lead stakeholders through transitions.
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in HR Management or related fields.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Experience in an international and matrix organization is highly preferred.
